I liked the unusual colored frames

I bought these, I really liked them. I put them on and they felt great, my eyeballs immediately felt better. until I looked to the left and noticed everything was painted in the colors of the rainbow?!? Then I look to the right and notice the same thing happening. It wasn't just a bit of color, it was full of rainbow colors that distorted what I was seeing. Unfortunately I put them back in the box :-(

high quality old school and glass lenses

I have Ray Ban, Revos, Maui Jim, Arnette. I decided I was done with the expensive S glasses with plastic lenses that scratch. I got them for a style change and specifically glass lenses. They should last a long time as the quality is good BUT. I wish they would offer them in a non-polarized version. Polarized lenses are not suitable for LED screens such as cockpit instruments, vehicle windows and cell phone screens.

Where is the quality control located?

Surprisingly disappointed. For reference, the frame tapers from top to bottom. My problem is that the frames didn't come in new condition. Imperfections and almost like someone sat on it before shipping as the frame wasn't straight. Chipped Persol logo on lenses, silver outer Persol branding looks tarnished ? . If you are trying to sell me a used item this should be clearly disclosed. If this is considered acceptable, I don't know what to say. They return.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • unreliable

Good quality sunglasses

These sunglasses are identical in frame shape to the longest discontinued Revo RE2037 with the difference being slightly narrower than the 59- due to the 57mm lenses mm lenses used by Revo. No wonder the styles are similar considering both companies are owned by Luxotica. Unfortunately they are a bit narrow for my face type so I had to go back and order a slightly larger and slightly wider PO2803S which uses 58mm lenses. I wish the PO2747S version came with 59mm wide angle lenses.

Pros
  • Very good value for money

Great glasses, better now with my latest modification

I have Persol PO2747, two tone frame is unique, they are comfortable. I liked them so much that I decided to switch lenses to wear them all the time. I sent the frame to freeprescriptionlenses.com, new lenses with Carl Zeiss Photofusion Blue with Duravision Silver anti-reflective coating, when I'm outside the lenses go from clear to an intense vibrant dark blue (see pics), they look fantastic. I have already received compliments from friends (at long-distance meetings). In short, the frames are

Authentic but not real!

They may be "authentic" but not the ones I've had for years. Everything is different and you can feel that. It's like having a fake Rolex and a real one. Frame material feels cheap, lenses are polarized but thin, dark gray instead of green. They look fake, but are guaranteed to be "authentic”. because of chinese company luxottica who bought ALL designer brands like persol gucci fendi prada etc even rayban and i think they switched to cheaper stuff but they own the name so they are officially…

I love them so much I will be buying a second pair in 3 years!

Bought my first pair of these particular Persols from a major retailer. I really loved them and wear them all the time. I've golfed in them, swam in them and they were excellent. The polarization is amazing and I love the slightly blue tinted glass. I definitely checked them out and I liked them so much I decided to buy a second pair. For some reason I was a bit nervous about buying a pair from Amazon rather than a well-known personal store, but the price was so good that this particular pair…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons

Very impressed with sunglasses and eyewear accessories

I've tried sunglasses from Oakley and Tag Heuer to Ray Ban and Maui Jim. I've even tried fashion brands like Armani. It was my first time trying Persol as a brand and once owning an Alfa Romeo the words 'Made in Italy' evoked fear rather than warmth and warmth. fluffy. But I've seen them in movies, Daniel Craig's James Bond wore a tortoiseshell version, and Suits' Harvey Spector wore a Persol to his funeral. So who am I to ignore such an outrageous production? I temporarily lost my Oakley that…
