I received this baby carrier today and am returning it for a number of reasons. This may be normal for a cat, but for a puppy - NO WAY! The zippers are not of very good quality and end up in the top opening of the bag, about 3/4 inch loose inside. They will rip to shreds within minutes, compromising all flashes. have a zip that goes all the way through the opening, the zips are only on the side with two velcro strips used to attach the top flap. I was very pleased with the quality of this carrier. However, only a few days later I found out that this medium is absolutely useless. If you can be sure that your pet won't want to run away, then you need it. It will stand very nicely and is the most beautiful thing I have come across. What changed me was that there was a 6 inch gap between the two Velcro strips. It only took my pet 30 minutes to find out that once they put their head inside, they're free at home.
