Wow, that's cute. The frame is plastic not wood, the glass is plexiglass so it didn't break in transit. It comes with wall nails and sticks, not just a nail. Now the back of the frame is the part that can be held in the pit, it's like the clamps that hold it in place and it has a sponge to hold it in place, overall very comfortable for the price, you won't find better frame for the price. I love these 4 I have they will look so good with pictures thanks guys for the lovely frames. God bless

Do not buy. Very thin, light and cheap. The frame itself is a cheap plastic that flexes and flexes as you hold it. The top plate would bulge upwards and pop out of position simply by lifting it. The plastic insert is very thin and the cardboard backing has been cut into various sizes - mostly oversized. Bought these frames for some of the reproductions I've bought for our office. Pretty straight black frames until you put your prints in. They are so well done. The glass was wrapped in plastic on both sides so I didn't even have to clean it when I removed the foil. It was in perfect condition, there was no dust, no fingerprints, no lint on it. Frames are ok. They look nice but are a bit thin. The only other problem is that the crappy cardboard backing doesn't really push your 24x36 inches to the acrylic, so your poster won't be as flat as you'd like. These are by far the worst 24x36 frames I've seen and I've tried many over the years. . Look elsewhere for poster frames. If you don't hang them 20 feet in the air where nothing can touch them, they're going to break. metal plates at the corners. You can see it in other review photos.
