Ok see comment for gas tanks

It was awesome although the little body that attaches to the tank was about twice the length of my Honda Sl 100's OEM but I used a longer stainless steel bolt and now it fits and works. Like a winner. I would take it again but I don't think I will as it fits very well and all the seals were really good.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Crumpled

Very easy to install in the petrol tank

Very easy to install. I have a '73 XL250 and when I cleaned/de-rusted my tank last year I tried to cut back on a few steps and run the old faucet. The bike never worked properly and was difficult to start. When my old faucet finally leaked gas, I bought a replacement. It was easy to install (although my standard Phillips head screw that attaches it to the tank didn't match this new one, but it was easy to attach by rounding the head on the mill a bit). The bike now starts on the first hit andโ€ฆ

Without screw, LockTite, pressure tested.

As Expected Non OEM for the latest 69ft Honda CL90 tanks but will fit and hold up well. Instead of the word OFF there is an (S) for Disable. The white plastic filter doesn't look like it will last long, but it does the trick. 1 inch screw is not included. Added medium strength LockTite 243 around the base of the petcock after it has been bolted and assembled. II then performed a pressure test at 50psi. The shut-off valve on the faucet(s) is/are working properly. You have to find a happy mediumโ€ฆ

This fuel valve is a direct (not exact) replacement for the fuel shutoff valve on low end Honda motorcycles that were sold in the 1970s, in my case SL125. (The advertiser lists 22 models that the crane will fit.) It is sold on Revain by XA (Xtreme Amazing USA Auto Parts) and ships from CPX of Rosemead, California. The body is a little worn but the valve, strainer and gaskets appear to be new so I am assuming this is a remanufactured faucet. In fact, two types of fuel valves were used on theseโ€ฆ
