Very easy to install. I have a '73 XL250 and when I cleaned/de-rusted my tank last year I tried to cut back on a few steps and run the old faucet. The bike never worked properly and was difficult to start. When my old faucet finally leaked gas, I bought a replacement. It was easy to install (although my standard Phillips head screw that attaches it to the tank didn't match this new one, but it was easy to attach by rounding the head on the mill a bit). The bike now starts on the first hit and doesn't leak.
