Peterson Manufacturing V126R Clearance Light Review

As my tests showed, this heavy-duty clearance light is a great addition to any commercial vehicle. Its brilliant illumination ensures high visibility in any driving conditions. The light is also quite sturdy and can withstand tough weather, making it a great investment for those looking for a reliable automotive light. The only downside is the installation process can be a bit tricky, but once installed, it is smooth sailing.

These were replacements for the existing Peterson V126R position lights on the bus. It looked the same, the outside measurements were the same, but the inside mounting screw holes were in different places. Some rework required. Otherwise ok.

I have an old Bolens 1556 garden tractor that I enjoy driving, but the light is broken. It looked like an exact replacement, but the center bulb socket (barrel shape sticking out through a large hole) is slightly larger than the original. So I had to take a rat tail file into the Bolens fender to increase the size of the hole a bit. It's okay - if you have old Bolens, you have tools and you know how to make something :-). This makes the rear taillight look original.
