Light Gray Petmate Traditional Kennel, Medium Size Review

This kennel looks more like a small one. It was also missing the 2 bushings holding it together. I sent it back and ordered another medium box which was a true medium.

Ordered it's strong and beautiful but not like the picture. Ours has arrived, dark gray and a lot shorter than I thought. When the puppy grows up, it will have to be bought again.

Bought this cage because I use dog transport. I like that their box is bright and lets in more light. So far it has withstood several washes and several transports very well. I wouldn't call it top notch but it definitely does the job and I'm happy with it!

The first thing that catches your eye is the thin plastic layer of about 2 mm. As cheap as plastic is, this thing should be half its price. . It is so thin that the door is thin and needs two hands to lock and open. I had a similar kennel a few years ago and it was twice as big. I don't think this kennel will fail so I wouldn't recommend it.

The pen I received doesn't even look like the picture posted on Revain - this has to be one of the worst pet products I have ever had seen - - I would return but I don't have the money to do so - the little clips holding the top and bottom of the handle together are terrible - I have a pet carrier that I've had for years - ie amazing - it is too strong - small clips, it's sturdy with it too - wish I had this new grip - not at all what I expected - hope it doesn't fall apart when my cat is in…

When the kennel arrived and I put it together it didn't strike me as "medium sized" at all. I ended up having to exchange it for my parents' kennel, which was larger. They have two Chihuahuas (about 4 pounds each) that fit perfectly in this kennel, one at a time. My dogs are larger than my parents but they are still fairly small dogs, under 15 pounds. everyone.
