My cats love it especially when I add some catnip. Very nice when you sit upstairs. A good investment to keep your cats entertained.

My sweet fat man LOVES this scratching post. We lost his first one when the house flooded but now he's so happy they replaced it. There are still pieces of cardboard on the floor, but I use them instead of tattered furniture. Since cats are so finicky it's hard to tell if your cat will accept this, but it comes with a small bag of catnip, so maybe your furry love ball will find something new to destroy. :-)

This is the second scraper of this type, Lounge/Rest 'n Scratch. The first was an Aldi find, held up very well and cost about 20-25% less than this. So I winced a bit when I bought this for almost $20. I mean, for heaven's sake, it's just cardboard. However, I'm not very smart, which means I would spend more in the long run "creating" one than just gritting my teeth and buying one right away. Our Pandora loves this thing.
