I think it's a manufacturing defect or something.

They were pretty tight. You might have relaxed with a nice break, but that thumb! Was the person they modeled after somehow deformed? I have the XL and couldn't open my fingers fully. I'm really not sure what the weird thumb net is for, or they just REALLY screwed things up. Either way they come back.

  • Quality construction

Nice well made gloves

Not too impressed with the comfort of this glove out of the box, needs a good try on before fingertip seams are comfortable. The pinky is really long, but other than those issues, it's a well-made pair of gloves. I wear a large glove and ordered a size up, the initial fit is tight and gets a little looser after wear. For the money this is a good glove.

  • Crumpled packaging

easy to break, reinforced construction in all the right places. Comfortable

After checking the recommended size chart I decided between Med and Lg. I chose medium to give the glove a snugger fit than the recommended next size up. They felt a bit tight at first but loosened up very well within the first day of use. Having worked the ropes 10-8 hours a day I am happy to report that they have held up very well. Great buy, comfortable design

  • Handsfree

Break and you're golden!

I'm used to serious work. I don't usually wear gloves unless I really have to (I get yelled at for wearing gloves). I have to say after tearing those gloves once while digging the swamp. I am in love with these gloves. I haven't lost my grip in gloves even though I sweat a lot. I didn't lose my dexterity from the work I was doing. This means that it is not a glove. If you're doing delicate work that requires extra sensitivity, these gloves are ideal for climbing, pushing, digging and pulling on

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

BEST ROPE GLOVES!

I've been in the emergency services for a while and never had a good pair of rope gloves. We always get the ones that don't allow for dexterity and are so stiff you don't feel like you're doing it. The midweight Cordex Plus is one of, if not the most comfortable glove I've ever worn. After a week of dismounting, belaying, dismounting, climbing, tying knots over and over again, and loading patients into drain baskets, these gloves show no signs of wear. The wrestlers I had said they were XL but…

Pros
  • Great design

  • poorly thought out

Looks well built: Climbing

I bought these for work gloves. I ordered a medium size for other suggestions. I usually wear "Large Gloves" but some brands allow me to wear "Extra Large" which is always a bit frustrating when shopping for gloves. But I guess that's just part of life? So the environment fits REALLY cozy. Not enough to affect dexterity, and after you put them on and work with them for a while, I'm sure they'll loosen up. To look good. Although time will tell? The only real problem I have is that they are…

  • Satisfied so far

Quality rope work gloves

The training I have been doing over the past few months has included knot tying, rappelling, belaying and other skills. The demands on the gloves we use are correspondingly high - hard-wearing, non-slip and well lined. Some of my teammates sacrificed durability and opted for cheaper but well-padded work gloves, thinking they would be easier to replace. I chose a more expensive goatskin work glove with a reinforced palm because I believe in their durability. These gloves were really nimble, but…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not the best
