🔒 Enhance Safety and Efficiency with the PETZL ROLLCLIP Z Pulley Carabiner Triact Lock Review

This is a great complement to the Bridge Harness Carabiner. With an Oplux bridge, it moves smoothly and quietly and matches my Rollnlock climbing technology and Madrock protection with a band of sound-absorbing tape.

The product info shows a SWL of 20kN along its main axis but the pulley is only rated for 2kN so this product in the configuration shown on a suspension bridge used is only rated at 2kN which is well below the minimum safety standard in my area. The information in this product description is vague and misleading.

Cool and comfortable. I just wish there was a better Prusik version, and the TRL version is a bit awkward at first. Having two of these on my harness allows me to quickly build a Z-rig mid-descent for easier climbing, especially with a heavy load. Combined with the Aztek kit nothing is impossible when hanging from a rope during technical/rescue work.
