Description of 🌶️ Peugeot Paris u'Select 9-Inch Chocolate Pepper Mill

MADE IN FRANCE- PEFC certified beech wood from sustainably managed French forests and steel mechanisms all made at the Peugeot manufacture, from concept development to commercialization. MAXIMUM FLAVOR- Proprietary 2-stage pepper grinding mechanism made of case-hardened steel specially treated to keep the teeth razor sharp and protect from corrosion. Releases maximum flavor and aroma by first cracking each peppercorn before grinding. EASY TO USE- Get the desired grind size by turning the u'Select ring system at the bottom of the mill. Turn the head clockwise to grind. Safe, comfortable grip helps get high, consistent output with minimal effort. BEST RESULTS- To get the best results, we recommend using only dry, hard, whole peppercorns that are 5 mm (1/4") or less in diameter.

Mechanically excellent (already 2 years) but the tree has fallen off.

Edit: broken after 2.5 years. The plastic is deformed, cracked and out of tune (it sticks normally). I am currently looking for a new pepper mill and unfortunately this is often the best. The grinder appears to be excellent. It's very easy to use and makes the perfect pepper. My problem is that the bottom wood section just decided to split and fall off. I hope my situation is unique! Makes a perfect product for a giant wart. As far as I know, there was no abuse at the mill. It's just my wife…

Pepper jam at the mill, don't buy it, you'll regret it.

This is the second Peugeot Select 9" grinder we own and like the first it has a constant problem with peppercorns getting stuck on the grinder inlet. It is unfortunate and inexplicable that this design flaw is still present in an otherwise perfect pepper mill. When the peppercorns are properly fed to the millstone, it provides a consistently adjustable grind setting. put away the jam. I can't understand all the high reviews. This thing just sucks. The same problem doesn't show up in Peugeot's…

Broke after two weeks of infrequent use

This is a nice pepper mill and it has worked well for about two weeks. Then the wood broke at the bottom (near the header), I don't know how or why as we didn't notice it breaking during use. At the bottom of the grinder is a very thin wooden ring (about 4 millimeters thick) that you can use to adjust the degree of grinding. This ring is simply split along the grain of the wood. The grinder can still be used if the ring is held firmly in place. It can also be repairable. But it's definitely not

Thank you Peugeot!: Pepper mills

It's crazy to waste time with another pepper mill. Pepper is chopped evenly and comes out evenly. The pepper mill is easy to use and refill. I'm in love. Worth the price, seriously a great buy. However, I will say that the instructions for a small leaflet say that peppercorns should be no larger than 5mm. That fascinated me. When measuring Penzey's Tellicherry and black Indian peppercorns I found that over a third of my peppercorns are 5mm or larger and some peppercorns are as high as 8mm. I…

I'm throwing this pepper mill in the trash.

Bought as a gift for my husband. This is the second grinder I've bought, the first being a small road grinder I gave him as a gift decades ago. It never worked properly and ended up in the back of a cupboard - a $2 Trader Joe's coffee grinder worked better! I found the Peugeot while cleaning my apartment in the fall and got in touch with Peugeot. As a loyal customer (I told them about the decades-old coffee grinder), I expected them to want to fix the problem. They gave me legal answers about…

I liked it so much I bought another one as a gift!

My second Peugeot, sorry for this review! Based on reviews here and elsewhere, Peugeot pepper mills have a good reputation. They may seem more expensive, but for those who have bought several other (cheaper) coffee grinders, the price can be an indication of Peugeot quality. I've been using this grinder for a few months now. I wanted to try it out before buying another one for a family member for the holidays. i really like it The grinding mechanism is solid and most whole peppercorns feed well
