This pepper mill is way better than I expected, it's beautiful, it grinds pepper on 5 levels. We love it and use it every time

Do not buy. It cannot be returned. I contacted Peugeot with product photos, a few months later I received a PDF with instructions already in the box and after repeated attempts to contact them nothing came. Sad, because I love ultrafine peppers.

You are buying this model because (i) you want a pepper mill that works and (ii) you like the look of a walnut. It's ok but the picture doesn't match the product when it comes to spotting/colour/grain. Walnut may darken with age and natural oils, but the version you will receive is pale, unstained and soft with little visible grain. It is not to be confused with a cool woodworking product.
