Does not cover the old oval surface. I had to apply white caulk to close the two 1/4" gaps on the sides. It will definitely update or modernize the look of the bathroom. .

I'm so glad I bought this upgrade kit to replace my old obsolete acrylic shower handle. My plumber installed a new modern Pfister shower enclosure. Nice inexpensive way to upgrade your shower.

Great upgrade from the original plastic collar. Now all I have to do is find a new retaining ring for the Crome trim kit. The replaced Avante valve and that retaining ring are back and the old faucet is like new again.

This is a necessary part to replace Avanti with a Weller fairing. The brass Avanti cartridge holder is the only required part in the kit. It features the male threading required to mount the new Weller faceplate. I also changed the avanti cartridge and bought a complete Weller kit.

I have successfully installed this kit on my 30 year old Pfister Avante Price tilt shower valve. It's not compatible with the old trim kit, but the Pfister R89-7SRK Serrano One-Handle Shower Trim Kit (also available from Revain) works with it and looks a lot better than the old acrylic and gold kit we had previously. I didn't have to use cartridge extenders; the Serrano trim kit fits perfectly without.

I needed this to install my Pfister on/off shower head as it was originally a pull rod and you have to stick to the manufacturer when upgrading. My dual shower head is a delta which doesn't matter if you have a flange coming out of the wall. But for older pull heads like the old faceted plastic heads you still need a retrofit kit. I wanted a large round plate with a strong handle that you could hold on to and know that if you pushed it away it wouldn't drip.

I called Pfister to find out what trim I could buy to replace the 21+ year old Pfister Avante clear acrylic shower handle with chrome replace trim. . They told me I need to buy this Pfister 09 series fairing upgrade kit 9319300. I bought a Pfister Pfirst Modern R890700 from Revain. I only needed a brass ring from a Pfister retro kit to mount the new trim kit. . Very easy installation!
