Great Mavic Air 2 NVD filter!

No more hassle of adding filters to the Mavic Air 2's stabilizer. . Stays on all the time and doesn't interfere with the stabilizer cover. I set stops with the drone off, I don't want to mess with the filter when the gimbal is on. Definitely a goalkeeper.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin

PG did the right thing. Buy

This stays on my Mavic Air 2 100% of the time, unless I'm doing long exposures during the day and don't need an ultra high ND 2000 Florida due to the sunny days. I use this filter on long exposure night shots and get fantastic motion blur and low noise color retention. The down filter does not weigh down the gimbal (as advertised) or interfere with the gimbal cap, so you can leave it 100% on when needed.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Small initial hiccup but overall pleasantly surprised!

I read a few comments about stabilizer bar overload, so I was skeptical. First flight, no problem, but I turned the ND dial to a different stop and took off again with completely different results. I got an "overload" warning and the gimbal twitched randomly while I was flying. I landed, turned it off and on again without touching the ND filter again, and haven't had any issues since. This leads me to believe that if you touch the gimbal/filter while the drone is powered on, it seems like it…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
