I pulled out one of my lace hooks on one of my Skechers boots. I bought it thinking it would fit but was disappointed. The ring you receive is too small in outside diameter. Skechers uses a large ring. The ring was simply pulled back along with the lace hook. The inner hole is ok. outside diameter of the hole. Should be wider for my application. waste of money.

I was looking for a pair of shoelace hooks and came across this set. Biggest flaw, the hook stop ring is so flimsy that it just falls through the skin and pops out on the third lace of the boots. There's a reason they give you 25 hooks, because you'll be replacing them every other day. It's more for arts and crafts than everyday use.
