The end results were good, but the road was bumpy.

The glass fits perfectly, but the repair is not for the faint of heart! After sorting out the broken glass, glue, tiny connectors and watching a few different videos on YouTube (close but not exactly), it took about 1.5 hours.

Does what it's supposed to do

What else can I say, the display on your iPad 7 broke and you want to fix it yourself? Be prepared to go to the trouble of disassembling, cleaning (glass and sticky glue residue everywhere) and reassembling. Not for the faint of heart, but when I was done the screen looked and worked like new.

Check out the tutorials before you start.

Just by looking at the tutorials on YouTube I changed it in an hour. Works perfectly and feels like the original. Only an additional utility knife is required to remove the old display.

Junk DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY

Too bad I can't give zero stars. I've been excited to replace my baby screen since she dropped her iPad. The screen arrived today and my fiance spent 1 hour installing it. When we tried to remove the top layer, the SCREEN cracked! Just peel off the protective layer. This screen HUM, do not buy.

Open the old iPad on the left!

Be careful not to damage the ribbon cable for Touch ID, this one only has a home button so make sure you replace the original home button with the Touch ID chip with this one. I have a broken one. and the seller sent me a new one which worked right away! Many Thanks
