I bought these lights for a 1950's first aid kit. They fit perfectly and were easy to assemble. The old lamps were cool white, which I didn't really like, so I bought a soft white for the new lamps. It's a little bit pinker than I'd like, but it's okay, they're in the bathroom. If you need fluorescent lighting for your living room, soft white light can be a really good option.

This bulb is very good but I needed a slightly different size bulb for one rather unusual shape lamp on the hood of the aquarium, which is really old. I thought it was the right lamp but it turned out not to be. Great product just didn't work for me
