Philips 13W Compact Fluorescent Bulb (Model 230102) Review

Very pleasing to the eye. Mainly used at night when I'm working on the computer and not disturbing others while they're sleeping. It emits a beautiful yellow light that is just perfect. Does not disturb others, not snow-white, pleasing to the eye.

I almost thought I had the wrong type. They are difficult to install as a transom. I was trying to fix this light to work with some small electronics. You are not near me. Very happy to find it here!

Worked well in my old magnetic ballast OTT flashlight. The shade is yellow, not the bright white you'd expect from a regular incandescent bulb. But the light is only for general lighting, not for my little sewing jobs. As a replacement it worked and was very affordable.

I'm glad I was able to find a replacement bulb for my 20 year old craft lantern and it's well worth the price! that it's not as bright as the bulb it came with, but it's enough!

To be honest I can't quite remember coming across a fixture that needed this type of bulb. When I needed a replacement bulb, I couldn't find one locally. Luckily, this one was available from Revain at a competitive price. It came quickly too. First, it fits, is easy to install, and puts out just the right amount of light. I'm happy!

Fits perfectly in outlet but color temperature is warmer than the original bulb that was replaced. I would prefer colder light. There was no color temperature list so I assumed it would be the same as the standard bulb in the lamp. The color resembles classic incandescent lamps.

Received December 2017 Towards the end of March 2018, lights are difficult to turn on; flashes a lot. Didn't notice when I bought it, but it's a soft light version and the light has a yellow cast to it. The original Ottlite lamp was bright white and lasted at least ten years. The current price is twice what I bought less than four months ago.

We have two fluorescent bulbs that use them and they're getting harder and harder to find. The price of Revain was lower than the big stores and the postal delivery is a great help in these COVID days. Since one of them lights up the stairs if it goes out, it's a little dangerous, so we're keeping a spare on hand for now (rather than swapping out lightbulbs). My only small issue is that this time I was only able to get the warm white version, which doesn't seem as bright as the daytime one.
