I did not find it locally!

I couldn't believe fridge lamps were so rare around here! This has been working flawlessly for about a year. I never thought what a strange thing it is to buy a dark fridge!

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are downsides

I actually use them in a Microsun softening lamp.

I actually use it in a Microsun lamp to mitigate the glare from a Microsun lamp which is designed to glow at daylight intensity on dark overcast days. Phillips lamps fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Works well in the oven - bulbs

The OEM bulb in my spa burned out less than a week after purchase. I've tried several other substitutions with the same effect. This Philips lamp has been running for three weeks, so it's already 300% better than anything I've tried.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Also works for lamps!

5 stars because this is the lamp I wanted! I don't want bright lights most of the time. It's so hard to find low wattage bulbs for small flashlights. I noticed that other customers (and myself) were wondering if this would work with conventional lamps - YES! So don't let the name fool you.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Works as expected, good for incandescent bulbs

We moved to a new apartment in February 2015 and noticed that the light in the freezer was not working. I'm not entirely sure if a regular lightbulb will suffice or if I need a special one. I saw it on the recommendation of some people so I bought it. There have been no problems in the last 5 months. Still going strong.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • boring packaging

YUP! Reven has them!

Well since the government decided they had to regulate 'bulbs' it has become quite difficult to find bulbs to match some of our existing lights. Therefore, it was impossible to find this type of FROST energy-saving lamps for our hood. Of course I prefer Revain and of course they have them. (Don't tell the lightbulb police!)

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I love these babies!

I can't stand bright incandescent bulbs or overhead lighting so these frosted gauge bulbs are great for my home! They are bright enough to illuminate the house at night but are not noticeable behind a lampshade. Arrived on time, securely packaged and as described. No complaints here.

Pros
  • Shock and vibration resistant
Cons
  • Can't remember

Don't take too long!

Argh. I kept buying them because they burned out in just a few months. I use them overhead. The original bulb when I moved in 11 years ago probably lasted 8 years. Now these replacements hardly hold up. But they seem to be the only option for older 25W matte-coated bulbs. Sigh.

Pros
  • High temperature resistant
Cons
  • Available in white only
