Incandescent Bulbs Burn Out Quickly - Halogen Bulbs

They seem to burn out a lot quicker than they should. In general, under cone lighting, they appear like a spotlight. Neat product.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Short bulb life

I ordered these for the reception area of our office. I put the bulbs in yesterday morning and by midday one of them had burned out! At around $8 a bulb, I was disappointed to say the least.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Security

Most bases were damaged. 4 out of 6 were useless

I bought them as a backup. They sat unopened in my garage for over 6 months. When the lights in my kitchen started to burn out I wanted to replace them with these and only 2 of them were usable. The screw base threads were wobbly/uneven/bent so I couldn't screw them into the drill chuck. Of course, I missed the return deadline, so I paid over $50 for 2 working bulbs and 4 junk ones. Dissatisfied.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. Don't waste money.

One of the six was DOA. The other died 2 months later. Two more died after 6 months. On the product that says it should work for a year. Philips makes no guarantees - it doesn't even respond to messages. To add insult to injury, it looks like they were shipped from Home Depot, a company I usually avoid at all costs.

Cons
  • Damaged
