I ordered this for a retail store with minimal clearance behind furniture. In the photo the depth was 1 inch, but it's actually more than 2 inches! Now it doesn't fit where I wanted to use it. I have 2 of them for multiple sockets. Great Lifesaver! The living room remains complete (folding sofa, printer, computer, light, telephone, furniture cleaner).
