Uses only one outlet not two - Bulkier than others I had

The most important thing about this item is that it only fits in one of the outlets. They only get power from one pair of terminals in the outlet you installed them in, not both. In addition, this item is slightly larger and therefore heavier than comparable models that I bought from other manufacturers a few years ago. I'm noticing the same problem with cubic and horizontal rectangular outlet extenders. They're more expensive than the ones I bought years ago (at Walmart) and they're still in use today, and the new ones are bigger and bulkier too. .
