I bought four of these, one didn't work at all (won't turn on). Revain refunded my money immediately, thank you. I thought that future potential buyers should see the very poor build quality of these devices. Look at the photo, you can see that soldering doesn't connect anything. In reality the wire (full 120V AC) is floating in a plastic sleeve ready to touch anything e.g. B. a spring that you press with your hand. This is an example of incredibly poor quality control. Avoid.

All these people were upset because they did not read the description and apparently did not look at the photo. Guys, that's not an extension cord! Damn. It is well described and does its job exactly as it should. So convenient that you don't have to connect and disconnect the tree every day. Since it is not difficult to go behind a tree to turn it on, we use our tree more and it brings us so much joy! This is a great product! We hide it under a skirt made of wood. This inexpensive footswitch works well but depends on your needs. In some places it works well, in others not so much. I like that the footswitch is at the end of the cord so only one cord comes out instead of two. Footswitches that are mid-cable, so actually two cables connected to the switch, cause those other switches to tip over and not want to lay flat. I also like how it has a simple, sleek shape and all solid color. Another switch sold here looks like a red and black UFO, phew. However…
