Does what it's supposed to do

They're hard to find in stores, changing tools is even harder and ordering from Revain is quick and easy. I don't find the lights aesthetic or modern but the bulbs are very durable which is a big plus.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Poor product in bulbs

I don't use this bulb often, the longest can last 15-20 minutes a day. They say it will take four years. It burned down in less than a year. It looks high quality, but it isn't. I will not buy again, I will find another brand. Phillips products are declining in quality, including toothbrushes.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Volume

2 shipments - 2 yarn breaks - given up!

I should have known better. Lesson Learned - Don't Buy Lightbulbs Online! The first appeared with a broken thread. Revain was kind enough to replace it without returning the broken one, but the new one also had a broken thread. I gave up then. This is a bigger problem with round bulbs than most. They're a little more fragile!

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Can't remember

Too bad it took more than 6 months

This was my second Philips 12 inch fluorescent light bulb that I have bought in a year and it had the same problem. Lasted just 6 months. This was installed in our kitchen pantry. on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I bought an LED light to replace this (which used both 10" and 12" bulbs). This is a much better substitute. It turns on faster, the light is brighter and better. Oh and I couldn't find anyone to recycle these things so strike 3. I suggest not buying another but getting a spare LED…

Pros
  • Has a bipin base. Low mercury design reduces environmental impact.
Cons
  • small things

Excellent bright light for compact fluorescent lamps

I bought this lamp to replace the lamp in the kitchen. I wasn't sure if I should buy it but didn't have time to go to the warehouse and pick it up. My kitchen lamp has a large bulb like this and a smaller bulb. My old lightbulb was getting very weak and making this weird noise every time I turned the light on, so I figured it was time to replace it. When this lamp was installed it was very bright. I haven't changed the smaller ring light yet but I don't think I need to because this bulb gives…

Pros
  • This product is supplied as a single lamp.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Good and inexpensive lamp

Since the power outage in the last few months (bought in February) there have been some issues. I would unplug and plug back in and it would work for a week doing the exact same thing. I FINALLY flipped the light up on the connector pins and haven't had any issues since. There was no problem with the other lamp in the fixture and its legs are pointing down and I never had any problems with the previous lamp that was installed so I'm not sure if it's a socket or a lamp. I could change the…

Pros
  • 4100 Kelvin universal fluorescent lamp suitable for use in ceiling lights in areas such as the kitchen and bathroom.
Cons
  • Doubtful
