Philips Norelco OneBlade Face Trimmer Review

I am 71 years old and have been shaving since I was 14. I have seen many razors and can honestly say this is the smoothest, easiest and most versatile razor I have ever owned. A Pro model costs money, but my son has the cheaper Standard model (he let me try it before I bought the Pro model, now he's jealous of mine). works well so don't be afraid and buy this item cheap or professional you won't regret.wb

I gave this product too many chances. Enough for me to miss the return deadline. This is none other than the original single blade. You have to pass it multiple times in the same spot to do anything. I mean SEVERAL times. It takes forever and it's frustrating. It is absolutely useless for cutting hair other than the beard. I read the reviews on this product and gave it a try anyway. I regret my choice and wish I could still return it.

If you want to shave your bears, this is definitely a good choice. But if you are thinking of using this cutting machine, please don't buy it. It doesn't work at all. I would also add that I thought about using the One Blade to shave my head, but I did once and the razor already had green spots on it (when you need to replace it - supposedly after 3 months).

This is a good shaver but I was disappointed with the adjustable trimmer head. It's flimsy and doesn't offer the desired length of adjustment at the low end as it moves and shaves closer than I intended (given me bumps). People with sensitive skin will understand this. It's better to just use the regular numbered plastic nozzle (1mm) that comes with the regular blade. The charging station and the Li-ion battery are a plus, so I am happy with the product.

If you normally use razor blades, this will take some getting used to. As advertised, it doesn't cut as tight but definitely irritates the skin a lot less. I've used it 3 times in a row 2 days apart with no problems. My skin got used to it and felt irritated whenever I shaved with a razor blade.

For years I've only used the One Blade to trim and shave my beard. My biggest wish was for more long clips - and this seemed like the perfect upgrade. This is NOTHING like the original. 90% of the blade is blocked by plastic and there is a small entrance to catch hair. Avoid this big time - keep the original.
