Philips Norelco S3311/85 Shaver 3800 - Space Gray Review

I have had several razor brands - Braun, Remington and Norelco. This Norelco model seems to do a really good job with my beard and I haven't noticed any tugging. Very convenient. If it lasts, it looks like a top-notch razor. I had already shaved with the razor the day it arrived so just a few hours after shaving with the razor I shaved again with this Norelco and my face was better and softer afterwards. IDK if that counts as close as a blade, but if not, it's damn close.

This replaced my old Norelco which was worn out. I tried to separate 3 heads and hated them. It has 3 heads that bend but better stay in place. It does a great job of shaving (it took me about 4 face/neck shaves to get normal. It cuts hair into tiny pieces that are easy to clean and wash. Used for occasional but regular shaving. Even after fully charged IAW hand instructions, manpower is weak. behave as if it would not accept a full charge. Revain's product support is woefully inadequate. In twelve years I have never had such a bad experience, be it the quality of the goods or the intellectual support provided by Revain's services.

I saw a product that was a clear Chinese deprecation of this product. Norelco has been making them for a long time. Therefore they are copied. They are copied because they work. I like it. I have this original from Japan. Saving $2 to get a cheaper copy didn't appeal to me. It works well. Good buy, comfortable product, easy to use. Buy the original, buy Norelco and make sure others are measured by it.

Excellent electric shaver in every way. It's not the most ergonomic razor I've owned, but so what - you get a close shave without the pain of hair breakage (see review of another razor I've had for this one). A smooth, close shave in a short amount of time and the best and longest battery life I've ever seen in an electric shaver/shaver. Go with this not super cheap crap that will leave you bleeding and red in the face, but you don't have to spend more than $200 either

I've been using it for about a month and a half and it works very well. I have about a month on one charge. The shave is nice and smooth but it took my face about a week to get used to this razor despite using a very old Norelco for many years. When you stop using a razor, it takes a few days for your skin to get used to not being scraped anymore.

I bought this shaver to replace my 25 year old Philips (the battery eventually died). Wow! How many good updates in 25 years. It's softer, smoother, quieter, easier to clean, and the lid snaps securely into place. I don't know how long the battery will last as I haven't had to charge it for a month when I use it. I'm very glad I got a new one and wonder why I waited so long.

Bought this razor to replace another Norelco. This one isn't as "smooth" as my old Norelco, but works a lot better. Since I use this to shave my head, it's important to follow the contours of my head. This model actually does it better than the floating head model I had before.
