Nothing needs to be done to make it work. I just put the batteries in and that was it. I found my original remote two days later but a second one never hurts lol. Highly recommended

The remote control is fake. At least the one I got looks like it. First, the buttons are so hard that you have to press them so hard that I feel like breaking them. Second, the description says 2 triple A batteries (included) which were not included, be aware.

I bought this remote control after my dog decided to treat me. To be honest I wasn't sure how well it would work but I was shocked! As soon as I put the batteries in, I hit the power button and it started working right away! No setup codes or anything like that required! I have no complaints!

I bought this remote control after our son broke ours. I'm a very specific person. I specifically ordered this one because it was exactly the same. This one was $20 and the unbranded one was $8. I paid EXTRA to get the exact same remote we had before. The remote control pictured is not the one I received. It works fine, but I could save $12 and get the same thing.

I can access all functions of my TV with the OEM remote control. Feel like a little pricey but that's what you have to pay for if you need OEM parts/accessories. The buttons are EXTREMELY hard to press and have TV registration. I will try to exchange and if so I will update. If the problem persists, I would recommend a good universal remote.

This is a replica of the original, incredibly cheaply made. Some of the buttons don't even work properly, unlike the remote control that came with my TV. It looks the same, but made from thinner materials, the old-style non-pressing buttons are pressed hard to make the buttons work, if that makes sense. Often I can press the button once to scroll through Netflix and it will scroll backwards. Very disappointed, I recommend contacting Philippe directly for a replacement.

We broke the button on our original remote for our Philips TV that we bought years ago. This remote connected with no issues and worked great as a replacement.
