Philips VOIP 080 Skype VOIP Travel Phone is a phone with a wired USB connection to the PC and an integration with Skype. It features ClearVoice providing face to face conversation quality with the convenience of a classic phone. TRAVEL PHONE. This is for Win XP only. The firewall may need to be turned off before install. The kit comes with an install CD that includes all drivers and manuals. Following the CD should solve any problems setting up the phone. They must use the skype version provided on the installion CD for the phone to work properly. New features from upgraded Skye version may not work with VOIP080.

Excellent travel phone for Skype

This travel phone really impressed me. After I put it to the test, I found that it had clear audio quality and was super easy to set up. It's also very compact and lightweight, making it the perfect size for travel. The only drawback is that it's specifically made for Skype, so it might not be as versatile as other options. Overall, if you need a reliable electronics travel phone for Skype, this is a great choice.

Two cans of soup and a rope work better.

GARBAGE PRODUCT, installing the software will delete all Skype contacts. Updating drivers on the website is like sand in the gas tank. I contacted 24 hour CHAT and they tried to give me answers but I had more problems. For HOME PREMIUM or XP there is no function, for VISTA it worked but it deleted all contacts. I had to ask Skype twice to fix my contacts. If you're willing to throw away your well-earned cash, MAKE A BACKUP OF THE CONTACTS BEFORE INSTALLATION. This is the third Phillips productโ€ฆ

Plastic but cheap

The phone has the weight and feel of a very cheap TV remote, not a flat screen TV. It's so insignificant that I could accidentally sit on it all day and not notice it. It also behaves very strangely, mysteriously adding and removing digits when dialing. For example, if I dial 2125551010, the number will eventually be truncated to 15551010. So I have to dial from Skype to make sure I'm not calling a psychopath from abroad. And then there's the sound quality. Well I'm not sure what's changed butโ€ฆ
