Fir too short, new green screen.

Pretty cheaply made. It does the job, but probably not for heavy use. It was "recommended" to buy it with the Neweer Popup Green Screen, but it's not big enough to be used with it. Otherwise it would have gotten another star.

Pros
  • Manufactured
Cons
  • Uncertain

Use this stand to position your studio light close to the ground.

I bought this to allow my studio light to hit the floor very low. It works without any problems. I have a large light source so I weighted the base. Strong without weight. The base of the foot lay flat on the floor. I've been there for a month, so far so good.

Great for travel: poles and stand

I'm a professional wedding photographer and often travel to different locations, and I needed a lightweight, lightweight stand that I could pack in my carry-on. It's not the most durable stand, but for the money it really helps! It's lightweight and folds up to fit in my carry-on luggage.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Powerful enough for lighting and studio use

I needed tripods that I could light for the video shoot I was doing. The problem was that I needed something that I could easily assemble for a plane trip. These stands were perfect. The only issue I have is that you actually have to turn the thumbscrew to tighten it. But for the price, they're pretty solid. I'm glad I bought them.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Style 90

Good for the price Lighting

When I received these coasters I was very excited to use them. I like their compactness and durability. However, I've used them 3 times, each time unpacking/repacking, and have noticed the threads wearing out. To keep the rods from slipping, you have to tighten more and more. So I don't think they will last very long. Considering the price, they are ok.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Can hurt

Don't take it with you

I knew they were going to be cheap coasters but I needed something that folds up and fits in my carry-on. They were wobbly and some sections didn't lift easily. I used them as mic stands and the mics weren't heavy. I can't imagine any light with modifiers could be hung on these racks. I donated them to a local who can modify them and make them useful.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Sad gear

broke on first use but could be repaired.

smaller segments separated from the remainder. I left a one star review. Before throwing the stand away I decided to take everything apart and try to fix it. It worked. It turned out that the clip at the end of each segment was held in place by a hex head screw, and after removing that clip on large segments I was able to slide the free segment into place and then tighten it, making it work like new. As impractical as it is, I'm changing my rating from one star to four because the kickstandโ€ฆ

Pros
  • . Don't waste too much time.
Cons
  • . For old

The Phocus compact 6.9ft photo studio stand with reversed legs strikes a good balance of stability, weight and price. When it's fully raised and the legs are spread 45 degrees, the height is 83 inches, which is exactly what the ad says. The folded height is also within specification at just 20 inches. The weight on my digital scale is 2.6 pounds. Slightly heavier than the 2.16 listed, but the rest of the specs are so accurate I suspect a typo in the description. The plastic handles have aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
