Someone said these fly swatters break easily. But that's not the case. After all, we're not trying to kill brontosaurs - just small, fragile insects. However, it's easy to get carried away and raise a ho. But fly swatters don't break. What a great purchase!

As silly as it may sound to write a review for something as mundane as a fly swatter, I'll say it is exactly that why are we looking for a replacement for our old plastic fly swatter, which was finally wearing out. We looked at everything from local supermarkets to pharmacies to hardware stores and even the dollar store. This one is great, just like our old one. We even bought two!

The old fashioned fly swatter does the job. I have tried a number of high tech devices and have been disappointed. The flexible shaft provides the flapping motion needed to hit the fly before it has time to fly away. Smashing small bugs is very nice. So far it has held up well but after about 20 flies were killed cold weather halted the hunt. The only other thing that has worked really well if you don't want to spend all day hunting is balsamic vinegar on a cushion of bug glue.
