poor quality with bad magnetic field

I really wanted to like it but the product is such a disappointment. The placement of the magnets within the squares/triangles is very unfortunate, making it almost impossible to build anything with any type of structure. The magnets only "stick" to each other when you line up shapes next to each other, making it impossible to build 3D shapes (like a cube) or place triangles on top of towers (as shown on the box). Good luck building the beautiful marble walkway pictured on the box. The whole…

good but not great

We have several Magna Tiles and my kids LOVE them! I was very excited to see this marble set and was assured it would work with the tiles we already have. Yes, but the magnets in this set are not as strong as the magnets in Magna Tiles. The structure itself isn't worth it, you definitely need to think about how to keep it in place. I'm honestly not thrilled with the set and hope Magna Tiles comes up with something similar. It's not a bad set and it really works which is why I'm giving it four…

how much do you hate yourself

Only buy this set if you deeply hate yourself and other ways to berate yourself don't work. You'll spend hours "helping" (doing all of this) assembling it for your kids only to put on the last piece and it all collapses in a rush of glory. You'll swear loudly, loud enough for the neighbors to hear, and apologize to your innocent babies for saying such a horrible word that they shouldn't be repeating. Your child, on the other hand, will love it. They don't have to do anything but play with funny

Expect the best at Marble Runs

I was delighted to get this toy for my son who loves his magnetic blocks and has long wanted balls. I thought it would be the best of both worlds, I was very disappointed. At first it was too difficult for my 4 year old to assemble by himself. It took me a lot longer than I'd like to admit putting the structures together, and let's not forget to mention the 20 times my son accidentally knocked him to the ground trying to build one of the tracks. The tubes are not connected to each other so they

Fidgety, finicky and definitely not for small hands

My kids are no slouch when it comes to assembling toys. We have Hape Quadrilla, both Duplo and regular Legos, Magna tiles, Thomas' vintage wooden dock and the best Fort building blocks for kids aged 2-14. I was really excited to add marble runner pieces to our current magnetic tiles but when the box was opened on Christmas morning it was a total disappointment. Even with two adults helping to stabilize the parts, my very mechanical 5 year old couldn't do the layout on the box. We rummaged…
