Suitable for cats

This litter is of good quality and works very well. The only downsides are the amount of dust/powder generated when scooping/dropping and the price, which is a bit high.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in white

Great filler but expensive!

I have four cats and am always interested in trying new litters to see if there are any that are best for my team. This filler is top notch - it clumps really well and doesn't stick to the bottom of the tray. But the price is the main deterrent to my continued use. If you only have one cat, this would probably be doable. But I just can't use it consistently when dealing with five litter boxes for four cats. And that's why I'm deducting a star from the rating.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

I hate this litter

I guess like many cat owners I'm always looking for the best litter. It's no better. It doesn't soak in at all. He tells you to pick up the poop and shuffle the rest. The problem is that it doesn't fight odors at all. And worse than clay litter when it sticks to a cat's paws and falls to the ground. The small spheres are much larger than regular litter pellets so when they are on the ground they look like a bunch of tiny ball bearings on the ground. This means that not only is it annoying, it…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Very expensive

It's good rubbish, but first impressions are low.

First impressions: This is a decent quality filler and has gotten the job done so far. It tracks, but interestingly, doesn't throw away the box that easily. I have one cat who is very gentle and dainty when covering up her business and the other tends to throw half the box away in the process. So it was interesting to see after a little enthusiast did some digging. So far, and since this is still what I would call early testing, it's working just as well as my usual brand. I'll make notes…

  • One year trial
Cons
  • Clarity

I don't see any difference here

I swear I've bought this type of cat litter under a different name in the past. I don't see any real difference here, it really doesn't bring anything new to the table. It's 25-30% lighter, but not 50% lighter than regular kitty litter, and it's just as bad, if not worse, than all other brands due to the lighter weight. Easy to attach to the paws. In terms of moisture absorption, I don't see much of a difference from regular brands. It also failed to remove odors. To be honest, most of them…

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Good but not great

Pretty Good for Litter & Housebreaking

We have six cats and we usually use Tidy Cat for multiple cats (scent free) in all six of our boxes. To test this Pidan strain, we placed her in a single box in the bedroom hallway shared only by the three cats who sleep with us. They only use it at night - there is no access during the day. The two bags were well packed and easy to open. One wasn't vacuum sealed, but that didn't cause shipping problems or affect the linens. The cats really liked the litter and it was less dusty than Tidy Cat…

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • No Automatic

Good odor control and clumping; Tracks

Product: Pidan Cat Litter Bentonite Vacuum Packed Ultra absorbent and quick drying clumps in 3S with activated charcoal I love that this litter comes in two vacuum sealed bags. This makes storing products like Tidy Cat easier compared to large, bulky plastic containers. It's also lighter, which is a big plus as everyone in the house grows up on it over the years. It's a lot easier to deal with from start to finish. Luckily, the cat isn't too picky about her litter. This makes trying out new…

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Makes me angry

This kitty litter seems to work pretty well. The particles are very finely ground (granular) and slightly coarser than the particles found in most major brands of cat litter. I liked that this litter is unscented and doesn't have any added smells like many cat litters (which I think smell just as bad as when the litter is dirty). impressively little dust. It appears that the product has been sieved to remove fines and smaller particles. I usually change the litter box outside, but with this…
