Review on Pidan Bentonite Absorbent Activated 13 2Lb×1Bag by Tracy Grant

We have six cats and we usually use Tidy Cat for multiple cats (scent free) in all six of our boxes. To test this Pidan strain, we placed her in a single box in the bedroom hallway shared only by the three cats who sleep with us. They only use it at night - there is no access during the day. The two bags were well packed and easy to open. One wasn't vacuum sealed, but that didn't cause shipping problems or affect the linens. The cats really liked the litter and it was less dusty than Tidy Cat. However, it also does not absorb odors. After about 10 days - four days before it needed replacing it got quite smelly - it smelled like "old cat poo" despite being scooped up and kept dry. The same with the second bag. I have now returned to Tidy Cat for this box and at this stage the box smells better than Pidan. I've used Pidan's other Little strains, which I liked a little better than Tidy Cat, but it's not. . There's nothing wrong with that, but it's expensive and doesn't absorb odors. It doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot any better than Tidy Cat, but only slightly.
