I wrote a review an hour ago, gave it to my granddaughter and the door broke off. Perfect size and open access for little hands. However, I wasn't happy with the "Daddy" doll, which looks like a second mother with a shortened leg. Will have to buy a new one. Bought for a two year old, overall a good buy. This little dollhouse was exactly what I was looking for for my little one. Slightly gender neutral, made of wood, with easy access to the rooms from different sides and with good sized items for little hands. I clean dog bowls/bones when not watching him, that's the only real choking hazard I see in the set. (Isn't it possible that your child is trying to eat the child? You can argue that the child is also alone, but I don't see my child eating it, it would be a big piece in the mouth.)…

Cutest dollhouse for the price. And solid quality. It was easy to assemble. And I can say that the design will hold up. I was seduced by girly dollhouses until I saw them play at Sam's and Costco. Both displays showed the printed coating peeling off on every level and frame of the dollhouse. Why invest in something that will wear off when your kids start playing with it? I wanted to give 4 stars because one of the holes wasn't drilled straight and it was painful to turn a bit (the screw came out of the wood a bit and I didn't have tools to fix it). Furniture half finished, half gone. The unfinished parts are poorly polished and I'm afraid they might hurt my kids. Also, the box came without dolls.
