I've been looking for this for years. I had a few a few years ago and they're great - thick and strong and also soft so they're easy to comb through without getting tangled. I use them to tie my hair in a bun (not just a ponytail) to wear around the garden or in the shower. Nothing else holds my hair. They also use a thick elastic rather than the flimsy thin one that almost all hair ties use.

I have very long hair and like to wear it in a bun after the shower after it has dried for a few hours. These rubber bands couldn't be better. I've had them since mid-October 2020 and they've been used a lot. They didn't stretch, crack or fade at all. My only recommendation is if you use them on wet hair, let them dry before using them again or they will smell of mold (if they smell, wash with warm soapy water). I will order them again and again! So cute and HUGE! I didn't expect them to be as big as they were which is great. I will definitely order them again instead of buying something else from the store. They are as big as the palm of my hand. Although quite dense, it would be great for medium to thick hair.

Update: I still like these but one broke after just a few weeks. So durability is questionable. They may not last very long, but I still recommend buying them. I have very long and very thick hair and almost always put it in a messy bun. I don't usually post pictures or reviews. However, this product is truly amazing. The hair band is very large, fluffy, fits perfectly (nicely cuddly, doesn't slip off) and looks great. I have thick wavy hair so this big hairstyle is perfect for me. However, it may look too big for someone with very thin hair. Best $10 I've Ever Spent! I have long, thick, heavy hair that is super big and super strong. Note: I haven't used a curling iron since I got these puppies, I blow dry my hair and tie it in a bun while it's hot. Since the headband is large and you wrap it several times, the velvet keeps you warm and when you take off the headband you will have beautiful long wavy hair. I know TMI, but had to share. :-)
