I think these may be incorrect reviews as they are all luminous and they are all around the same date. These sticks are fine, but they are categorically NOT the same as Wiki-Stix. They're not as sticky, so my daughter's little sculptures aren't as durable and fall apart much more easily. Whether the Wiki-Stix is worth the extra money is up to you. But don't think you will get the same with this one.

I have a 2 year old. I had to be busy flying for four hours. He doesn't watch TV and gets bored easily. It was sent from God because they kept him engaged and creative. Great product because they give sensory time without causing a lot of chaos. Bought these for my special touch tutorial recently as they have been using Wikki sticks all summer and love them! Bought because of the great price for 500 sticks. After opening it and giving it to my students, I was disappointed. They are much smaller and thinner than regular Wikki Sticks. They also don't bend or stick easily. For my classroom goals in the future, I'll probably spend a few bucks more and buy Wikki Sticks instead as they better suit my specific needs.

My 4.5 year old got these for Christmas and wasn't thrilled after unwrapping them. We sat down with her and our 7 year old to demonstrate it and it really isn't fun. I didn't buy or use Wiki Stix before buying it so I can't make an exact comparison but from what I have I would say that they are great! Despite the reviews I got it. The sticks are thin, but the amount of wax applied allows for multiple uses. And with the right maneuvering, they can stand and stand for a while, with the right balance and more.
