I thought it was a brilliant idea and it is, except they are poorly made. When used with hot liquids such as tea, the plunger will detach and the plunger will fly through the kitchen.

Very effective with my loose tea. Possibility of repeated use. Not very well put together. The piston continues to break away from the flange. Continue to insert the plunger into the rod.

Happy with the purchase. I'm into holistic tea and drink many of my own blends. I bought one of these a few years ago for about the same price for just one, it's a great purchase for this set and I will have plenty of it. .Thank you!☺️

As many users have noted the product is good but does not seem to be reliable with repeated use. On one of my devices, the piston rod came loose after two uses and is no longer secure. Yes, it's a feature that needs cleaning, but the connection has cheap stuff to hold it together. If you ignore this problem, the device works fine. I like it despite the limitations.

I read many reviews before deciding to buy. The product itself works as it should. Most parts are plastic. Yes the parts come apart but that's not a design flaw, they have to be taken apart to clean the parts. For me it was irrelevant. For this reason, both sides of the filter have no mesh. One side is a very thin metal mesh, while the other side has small holes in the plastic of the brewer itself that allow bits of tea to squirt out. If you are looking for absolutely zero tea particles…
