Bad casting. good for plain bearings

When two bearings were fitted in series to hold the shaft it was found that after bolting the two bearing housings to a flat hard surface the shaft would bind and the shaft would not rotate could free. I ended up putting an 1/8" washer under one of the sides to tilt it.

Excellent stock.

I bought these pillow blocks to add an extra pulley to my drill to slow it down when drilling through metal. You have done an excellent job. Many other reviewers don't seem to have any experience with installed bearings of this type because if they did they would know that this type of bearing is designed to rotate a certain amount in the housing to align them. In addition, built-in bearings must always be used in pairs. Not like the reviewer who posted the photo. Finally, this type of bearing…
