First time: painting

I had just started a drawing lesson and didn't know what the book was about so I decided to buy the product the book was about and this little kid helped me out the choice of colors and these were warm and cold colors. If you've just started painting or painting in the field, this might be what you need. This is good for kids as many don't know what colors go well together or how to mix colors. Excellent work!

The colors are wrong.

This product uses RBY ink blend used in fine arts. This means it is impossible to mix light colors with this circle as it is not based on light and pigment. It must be CMY to mix True Color with pigments to provide the widest possible range of colors. Mixing RBY leads to unsaturated and sometimes cloudy results.

Beautiful, compact, durable and does what it's supposed to!

Compact which makes it portable and storable (if that's the right word). I have not used it yet, but immediately understood how to use it. From the looks of it they are all made out of this paper so I think it should be durable. It serves its purpose and is well made. Also, you get two, which is really great for someone like me who really tries to be organized but still forgets where I put things. I'm happy!

Two for one!

This has already saved me SO MUCH color. I'm not an artist (but I love playing around with paint) and have never taken art classes, so I've never really understood how color combining actually works (I use acrylic paint). I wasted so much paint trying to get a specific shade, experimenting (and getting completely wrong results). I usually did a rough brown instead of what I was going for.
