Knowing I'm buying good quality I usually buy Goody. So I bought them with caution. I'm IMPRESSED by how good they are. They stay in place like they have non-slip rubber, are comfortable to wear all day, and don't bite your head. I like that despite the variety of colors, all Doz claws are black.

They are deceptively durable at first glance at the packaging. But after only 10-15 uses (nothing special - just opening and closing the hair clip on less than half of my thin and straight hair) all the hair clips have broken so far. They break in the same place next to the spring so I know it's a clip design flaw. I would recommend paying the same amount or more for less really strong hair clips.

I ordered these hair clips because I was looking for hair clips that are on the larger side to tie my hair in a bun. They work well, I have to keep an eye on them because the bar that holds everything together often comes loose, but so far I've been able to catch them and put the bar back in place. They aren't the most durable, but are working for now.

I brought similar clips from Wal-Mart many many years ago and recently bought them which are now in store made of very thin plastic and break easily (after first use). These clips are even better than the ones I brought years ago - thicker and stronger plastic that will last. Consider buying again as I don't want to run out.
