Luckily I read other people's reviews before purchasing these tops. Please note: size 11-12 years old is suitable for 9 years old. 9 years average height. A bit wide/big under the armpits, but fits. My daughter loves them for dancing so we also buy other colors because the quality matches the price.

Ordered 9-10's for my medium 10 year old daughter and they were MUCH small. Order 11-12 and they're still a little tight, but she can wear them.

These shirts are thick and my daughter says they are comfortable. However, they are very wide in the chest area, so my daughter can only wear them as tank tops. If she wore them like a regular tank top, the skin would have been showing through the gaping armholes. Also, because of the large armholes, my daughter struggles to put them on and always ends up in the wrong place!

Love the color and fit but runs small. Or rather, it ends. My daughter is a solid 6/7 (8 is often too much for her). I bought a 7/8 and it cut her belly too much. Have to come back and get 9/10.

Bought it for my 11 year old. The shirts are a little tight, which isn't a big problem, but their length barely reaches the pant line. Most likely, she will wear them only at home. She loves them differently.

The shirts are very small, I washed them and they faded and the seams all came undone. Complete garbage. You get what you pay for, don't waste your time and money

I bought them for my daughter in her size according to the chart. They were very short but not suitable. They fit really square with no shape. That short and square isn't exactly what you need for dance tops, let alone what they look like in the pictures. Not sure what fabric it is, but it's not spandex/cotton as advertised.

This top looks great but it would be better if it was a little longer. The waist is a little loose so the tummy is visible, which my daughter doesn't like.

My girl is 9 years old, she is very slim. I ordered them in size 11-12. These tanks are very short. Also, the neckline is so high that it literally hits her neck and the straps are too tight on her neck. However, the bodice is loose and fits as expected except that it is too short. You will return immediately.

I bought them for dance classes and they work great. Very comfortable stretchy material but fits well. Happy with the purchase.

Got these for my 3 year old and 5 year old hip hop dance class. They are perfect for dancing. They run on the small side. The 4-5T fits my 39lb 3 year old girl - she is tall and lean. 6 fits my 50lb 5 year old. But I think they'll both outgrow these shirts very quickly.

These tanks did not fit my daughter. I wasn't a fabric fan. The tanks were bulging in places and looked cramped in places. I am back. I feel like the $2 Walmart tanks are a lot better quality and fit a lot better.

I've read other reviews that they run small. I ordered both 9-10 and 11-12 for my nine year old. 11-12 were huge. The armpits gaped. Size 9-10 is true to size. They're relatively cheap, so I hope they hold up well in the wash.

That's to be expected for this amount of money. Not the softest material but after 5 washes the color hasn't faded. The kid likes her. Lasts longer than one season.

Stretchy, comfortable and white shirt is see-through, we recommend wearing a sports bra or training bra. My daughter wears a size 7/8, it fits like a 6 or 6x.

I bought this for my 8 year old who is small for her age. I bought her a size up so she can wear them for a while. Unfortunately, they are very small and cramped, so they don't last as long as I planned.

I bought these for my daughter's gym class because she wanted something lighter than a bathing suit. They work well but they are a bit big and VERY wide open around the neck and armholes which is frustrating and makes them a bit cheap.
