These eye bolts appear to be very strong and well made. The real test will be when I attach them to the roof rack and use them as attachment points. I will update the review if these screws fail or the quality degrades.

They are perfect for my application: I use a piece of paracord on the bottom of the camera for stabilization when a tripod or monopod is not allowed. The camera can be easily stabilized by stepping on the cable and gently pulling on it.
