It worked well for me. The socket matches my 12v sockets and the plug is the same as the plugs on my security cameras. The plug and socket mate and the wire is copper (not CCA).

These were used as planned when installing 12v LEDs to attach to endpoints as needed. Also used 2 pairs for other projects where a simple bracket was a better solution than a permanent wire configuration.

Positive and negative wires were reversed in one of the sockets which destroyed one of my battery charger control boards. It took me a while to test the connector and figure out the problem charging my 12v lithium ion battery pack I was trying to build. I could not believe such a product defect. It's pretty dangerous.

I specifically ordered these connectors because I need female connectors with a body part that is NOT prone to accidental contact. Unfortunately, what the supplier indicates in their quote is NOT what they deliver. The female is too short to fully connect with the male part. The bushing also has part of a metal cylinder protruding from the insulation.

70% socket failure (open shell and yellow insulated end ie no center pin) on the negative lead. It's insanely high. I carefully cut off the rubber insulation to check this and although the soldering was good the wire was broken just below the soldering. Absolutely useless. I can't even believe that those 30% that worked out of the box will continue to work.
