Very poor mounting system. I had to renew the fastening system. Nice looking derailleur but I installed the correct nut for my derailleur and put in a pipe gasket so I can tighten the nut.

I haven't installed it yet but just holding and opening is not what I thought at all. The trigger is an "empty" trigger. It's for looks only. It moves, but it serves no real purpose. In fact, you just click on it to change gears in automatic mode. I am considering whether to keep it or send it back. 🤔

After I bought it and found it wouldn't screw into my Focus 14, I installed the screws that hold it in place. After the first 2 weeks it loosened up and I had to tighten the screws again. If new it didn't bolt on as advertised I wouldn't buy it.

Pistol grip tightening screw not included. I asked for help and they did nothing. At least it still works because the trigger doesn't do anything. All you have to do is push the pistol grip down. Also, the metal on the handle is real. As a result, it can get too hot or too cold to touch and is uncomfortable. In any case, I will soon replace it with another shifter.

Good grip but very poorly made adapters, they are plastic that fit over the switch shaft and set screws are tightened on the switch shaft which are too short to tighten properly / BUT AFTER I was done with one special adapter i made out of aluminum - and polished well, perfect for my tundra and it's a good adapter with 8mm screw thread with 1.25 thread pitch, great fit, i will post pics

It gives new meaning to the old school pistol grip. This manipulator is too cool to explain. It looks like an actual revolver, which is pretty cool for my book. A few things: The trigger moves, but not for automatic shifting, defeating the purpose of the trigger. You have to press down to toggle. Everything is metal except the handle, the handle is finished shiny plastic that doesn't look like plastic until you touch it . I installed it on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the adapters didn't fit so I took a drill and expanded the drill bit that was too small and it fitted perfectly. The instructions suck! I bought this shift knob to replace my old one on a 1976 VW Baja Bug EMPI shifter. The pen itself is amazing and requires simple assembly which is detailed in the instructions. The included "mounting adapters" are just little soft plastic caps that ripped off on first use because the switch uses three screws to tighten the adapter. The handle fell off. I love this switch, it's exactly what I wanted and it's really well made and looks good. it's shiny and doesn't look cheap or anything. it fits pretty well. (I have a 5 speed Eclipse Spyder) I had to go back and re-tighten it the first time because it came loose while riding which was normal because it's hanging from a pole so I just made sure that I don't pull up while shifting but I put it back on and so far so good.
