Nice looking and functional lid. Easy to take off and put on. It's hot as hell here in South Texas and everything in the car gets hot, especially metal objects. Thanks to this coating, the joystick can be operated very comfortably.

Very nice item. My car is Deadpool themed so fits in well but the paint seems to be fading after a few months and it has fluffy balls. I'll probably buy another one for the show as it looks good. If used as a case when not driving I'm sure it will hold up, but I've used it while driving and it shows.

Be careful, even if you wash your hands constantly, the white color gets dirty quickly. It really helped with how cold my derailleur is in winter, but it doesn't look as good as I was hoping. If the design was 1/2 inch below the top it would make a world of difference. I saw them at the Sema show and was very excited to see something to put on the shifter. It took a year before one was actually for sale.

I live in Texas and the shift knob on my Civic Si gets as hot as a hot bag in the sun (always with the windshield cover on). I was sure I'd end up like Harry in Home Alone, except instead of McCallister's "M," I had gears 1-6 and an "R" burned into my arm. This little cover performed exactly as expected, if not better. I removed it after the first month to check for residue and there was none. Love it!
