I needed temperature and humidity. I didn't need all the bells and whistles that go with a modern weather station today. With Pinmu I have 4 small, non-intrusive devices that I can read from across the room. The temperature is within a degree of my thermostat. I didn't expect high accuracy for the price.

I wanted small thermometers to track the temperature in various places in my house and garage. They seem to be working great. They are accurate with each other and with different thermometers. They are small but easy to read. I don't know how long the batteries will last, but so far everything is working fine.

I use 3 of these sensors mainly to monitor temperature variations in a certain part of my house. My house is all electric with energy efficient baseboard heaters with separate thermostats. Now my wife and I don't have to waste electricity to keep each room comfortable, but I keep unused rooms below normal so nothing freezes. Since I know the temperature close to the actual temperature, I can adjust the room thermostats accordingly. These temperature sensors are excellent for this purpose.

10 minutes for temperature calibration and around 20 minutes for humidity. Everything is there and tested against the previous caliber. Also a lot. We are both in our 70's and sensitive to heat/cold and can now check the actual temperature in all rooms and adjust the heating/AC or know when to adjust clothing layers for comfort. I love these little hygrometers that show the current humidity level. They are small, but I can read them quite well. First we assemble them together with the hygrometer that we already have. They were within a percentage point or two of each other, but 4 or 5 percentage points lower than our big hygrometer, which is quite old. I think the little ones are right. Started monitoring humidity and temperature moving to different places and different heights a few years ago to accurately rotate a large room when moving adjust the ventilation system. The digital display is easy to read without a "reader". They all show the same readings 99.9% of the time and are typically within 2% humidity and 1% temperature of our expensive HVAC system. I bought these out of curiosity to see how different rooms in my house differ in temperature and humidity. For the first few days I placed all 4 next to each other and all but one matched. The one who did not agree differed only by 1 degree in temperature and 1-2 degrees in humidity. Although sometimes they all read the same.
