The main unit works great, switches between screens quickly and has a lot.

Installed on a 2014 Jeep JKU. Requires an installation kit and any necessary "extra" wiring harnesses to be compatible with the Jeep interface. The main unit works great, switches screens quickly and has many user options.****UPDATE****One and a half year update: CD button no longer works and dial won't open. Overall, the front of this HU has been opened less than 10 times. A CD inserted in the HU will play, but the front panel will not open to remove it.

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Performance
Cons
  • Crumpled

This radio is way better than I ever expected

This radio is way better than I ever expected. I listen to SiriusXM with an inexpensive adapter. With a 6 month subscription you can get three months of XM for free, but I chose music for only $5 a month for 6 months - free activation. This Pioneer plays CDs, DVDs, USBs, iPhones and XMs, all with album art. I hooked up an extra backup camera and now I have all the features I want for my 2005 Avalanche without having to buy a new truck. I would highly recommend this device to anyone. Too many…

Fantastic HU - get them in stock from Revain

This HU is a big upgrade from my previous AVH-210EX. The screen is very clear and the touch is very responsive. BT connection is almost instantaneous. Install my 2006 Toyota Tundra DC with the Metra kit. I used a bypass wiring harness and steering wheel controls. Worth every penny. Note: Look for it at Revain Stock and save over $100. The device arrived in new condition. Update from 06/21/2019: I installed a reversing camera, there was no video, just a black screen. Tried all available…

Great unit at a great price.

Great device! The display is bright and infinitely adjustable. The touch screen works well. I didn't use the remote at all. I wish there was a dedicated mute button on the device. There's one on the remote control. I mainly use it to play music from my phone and it works well for that. I use the Bluetooth and USB connection together and it brings up the album art on screen which is cool. The "Hey Siri" function works well. I can listen to and respond to text messages without looking at my phone

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Obsolete model

***BEST HU PIONEER ON THE MARKET FOR OPTIONS AND PRICE***

This HU is perfect in almost every way. Installed in my 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 I was so impressed I bought 2.1 more for my VR-4 and 1 for my 1995 Acura NSX-T. I was able to easily hook up a backup camera (since all cars are manual you only need to hook up a taillight wire), as well as hooking up my Sirius XM antenna and PAC steering wheel. a control that still allows me to use the stock volume buttons etc on the steering wheel. Why Revain listed a different model as "newer model" to make…

Great for Car Audio

Pros: -Great sound quality -Great build quality -Good performance -Bluetooth connection after getting in the car is automatic and relatively quick Cons: -Screen isn't as responsive, but it is resistive touchscreen, so that's it. Does not include an auto EQ mic which I think every $250+ Pioneer should have. , plan ahead and buy a mic before you install it, and "hang" while you set up your auto EQ before shutting everything down. If you want to do this later, you will have to dismantle the…

Radio functions are terrible

THIS IS NOT A SELLER REVIEW. This is a product overview. (just got back) I googled "best gps radios" which was number one I think. Did a little research and thought ok, sounds good! Spent time getting it right. Started playing with it and quickly realized that you can't play music apps and navigation at the same time. Pandora or Spotify. I spent hours trying to figure out a way because I spent so much time hooking it up. I really wanted this radio to be "it". I think you can play music from…
