Excellent quality. The original Pioneer remote control, you can feel the difference. I bought it cheap, it only lasted a week. This is real pioneer quality, not a fake. Thanks! $20+ elsewhere. Bought a replacement!

This is a good remote control for my AVH P3200BT but as others have said it doesn't work with all the functions of my device. Only the important ones, and that's why it's a Guardian! Oh. and you must love the small size. On my 2002 Ford Escape there is a small hole just below the radio where it fits perfectly without velcro!

didn't work with my avh 290bt some buttons worked volume, left and right, source and att up and down didn't work, direct, select phone or hang up, none of the numbers, no pause , no play, no selection. and it says you can use it with a phone so i bought it and it doesn't work if you don't need it then it will work but if you get it for that don't waste your time it won't function

I bought this to use with my Pioneer AVH-P3200BT stereo which I have installed in my truck. After losing control of the steering wheel while installing the stereo, I wanted a cheaper alternative. It is, I wasn't sure at first if it would work, but it works and it's great. Simple controls for navigation with a black joystick-like button. You can press it left, right, up and down and it will perform required functions. Worth every penny and I'm glad I bought it.

I received this remote control for my new Pioneer head unit because I drive a manual transmission car. The device works as advertised, but you have to point it directly at the main unit. If you fix it on the left side of the steering wheel, the radio will not read the signal from the remote control. It doesn't have DVD play buttons but it allows you to emulate "scanning" when you connect your iPhone to the radio. Play, Pause, Stop, RW, FW, Attenuate, Mute, On/Off Call, Volume and Station/Tune button. There are also CD numbers if available (old ones!). It's actually a Pioneer CD/Radio control that works on newer ones too (limited functionality but basic ones included). but sometimes annoying.

Well, I "knocked" my radio, you could say, and a lot of the buttons didn't work anymore.
