PITCHER Gallon BLUE Pitcher Button Review

Tupperware Pitcher. The item delivered was not the same color as shown. I received a frosted transparent jar with a blue lid.

The jar is sturdy and the lid concept is good, but Tupperware lost it on the lid. The lid is too tight (even pressed lightly!), and the button that should turn off the suction completely doesn't work. I had to wrestle with the thing to even get it out and then slip the narrow handle of the spoon into the spout where I finally cracked the lid slightly and opened the lid just enough to pour out.

So I've grown up using 1 gallon Tupperware jugs my whole life to hold tea in my family. I knew it was great, my mom bought steins from them in the 80's so I grew up with them. So in my 30's I needed quality pitchers to store tea in my own home. I've been using an unknown brand from Wal-Mart for a couple of years and we got fed up with them not doing well and constant spills (we had to clear the tea shelves off the fridge almost every day).
