Hit the target

Apparently when connecting to the PC connector, the top shoe mount becomes useless So what's the point of this, you can't attach both the PC and the hot shoe ?

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some minor things

Five stars for camera and photo

I asked if this would work with my Olympus OM-D EM 5II and my OM-D EM-10. Both answers were wrong. It works with my two Oly cameras. Although this is not intended. I had no problems with my hot flash attachment. Very satisfied. FoxwellT

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Older model

Completes the lens shadow in the frame

I use this to add a bit of height to my Nikon flashes so the output isn't clipped by the lens barrel. There's nothing worse than seeing the shadow of the lens cut into the frame. I still have i-TTLl with this unit and a connector for connecting studio lights to a computer. Never had a problem with it falling off or coming loose while filming.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Something Else

Excellent Cheap Universal PC Adapter

Great Cheap Universal PC Adapter for hot shoe of any camera. This item has been used with a Nikon D90 and a vintage Norman 20/20 power supply with immediate success. I think it's great that there is an additional flash shoe adapter. Instead of blocking the hot shoe mount, this adapter allows you to shoot multiple types of flashes at the same time.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • High Price

Great accessory

without thinking twice. After the Nikon Speed Lite was accidentally dropped, the hot shoe was slightly bent and didn't fit well on the camera body. Replacing the hot shoe was quite expensive. So bought it to try and it works perfectly. great lifeguard. The flash fires well and you don't have to worry about damaging the camera body. Bought this item because of the metal base. great article. highly recommended.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • almost never bought

Copes with its task (maybe I found an undocumented feature?)

works. Also, I couldn't find any documentation that this is a feature, but I ran a PC sync cable between two of them (one on the camera's hot shoe and one on a cold shoe stand with a Sunpak flash in the hot shoe) and it worked properly. Flash (which was great considering the Flash PC sync connector didn't have a thread to screw in the end of the cable so it kept falling out).

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I bought and tried four of these. One failed immediately, the other after a single use. Failure rate 50%. It has two good points 1) Nikon lock connector (threaded) for PC 2) The camera hot shoe locking mechanism uses a mechanical lock (good), not pressure. That way it won't fall off the camera. Because of these two great features, I'm rating it three stars instead of two.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Works as advertised

This PC hot shoe adapter works exactly as I was hoping for my Nikon D850 and provides an extra PC connection to the Pocketwizard transmitter. I needed this adapter because I couldn't connect the Pocketwizard to the PC port in front of the camera because the PC port was blocked by a wireless remote shutter connected to the ten-pin connector. After reading some reviews of this little device I was concerned about the build quality but it seems solid and so far I'm very happy with it. I can't…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not bad
